The problem is actually the jury system, which does not exist in Communism. The lawsuits wouldn’t exist either, since there’s no money to sue for and no property to be stealing. The 12 people on that jury are an example of how badly California needs to fix and fund its school system.

Well at least the story line is beginning to pick up. 200 pages damn near and were still in the “explaining the background of the story” phase…. IDK if I’ll have the patience to read through all of this thing if the whole plot is laid out like this.
