In this case, though, air resistance is only a factor from the point at which Alex’s sword is removed from the wall – not nearly far enough of a drop for air resistance to make a difference. Presumably Felicity let go of Alex a moment before he withdrew the sword, and so fell without sword-drag for a bit before he started to. Thus, she is closer to the ground (well, ledge).

Still Felicity is alot…furrier than Alex’s smooth, aerodynamic armor, posing more drag and air resistance…
