I studied classical Greek in college, it pretty much says what Dragonsouled says it does. It just uses English words rendered in Greek script. I also see more recognizable words farther down too. There are a few transliteration issues, such as there is no letter for “h” in greek, so this uses an eta. My guess is that the merpeople are supposed to be vaguely Greek (or roman) influenced, just like the centaurs are native american influenced.

i don’t care if it’s greek it’s still the ancient language of Dreamland and somehow it is translated to read what is on this page and the next. i don’t know how the people of dreamland read greek but i know that this language is all still greek to me.(sorry for the bad pun.)

It’s Greek letters used to write English. Or, alternatively, English put into a Greek font. And yes, it does seem to say what Draginsouled says.
