ah…sorry I know I’m probably picky and over analyzing this…(seeing as its a comic book), but shouldnt alexander be waking up to the real world periodically throughout this…somewhere…sometime…
Gordon–obivously you haven’t dreamed for a while, eh?
it’s often happened in real life that people sleep for a while, and in thier dreams it seems to last days and it certainly doesn’t seem like they just had an 4-hour nap snice how long the dream seemed like.
Time seems to warp when you sleep.
wow, amazing house. yes, the comic remains one of the best comics online – this really should be sold at borders/barnes & noble, etc and should be an animated film. really nice work, scott – thanks for sharing!
Oh yea!!! Let’s hear it for the magically-appearing, auto-deploying, full faced close helm!!!!!!! To many magic armors forget one of the most important parts for the sake of being able to recognize the main character at all times. I know I would never want to go into battle without a brain bucket.
Aarg! I know I’ve seen a cool clickety-clickety helmet like that which appears out of nowhere before… I just can’t think of where!! A sci-fi movie I think. This is going to annoy me until I can figure it out now T_T
Hahahaha! Alex’s expression is priceless. That’s a definite “Eeep!” moment.
Lovely home as well! I don’t envy you the unpacking though. Definitely need to put your “scruffy mug” up there so we can recognize you at the cons. lol!
To ArtsAngel: could it be that you mean StarGate the movie? I remember that Ra’s mask kind of reappeared and disappeared like this. Well, this is what immediately comes to my mind when I think of possible parallels anyway. There could be other inspirations as well.
He’s from Earth — he should *know* that you NEVER say “I’m INVINCIBLE” before/during/after a fight. You will always get owned hard. It’s the way the universe works.
That is pretty cool. I can’t help but wonder where the little gold disks that the whole thing appers to spawn from came from.
LOL! That’s an “eep” face if ever I saw one. But indeed, that is an awesome helmet ^_^
Agreed
And your house is beautiful!
I wonder about the gold disks too…
but the idea of it is still cool.
I concure that the house looks gorgeous too. I hope you like your new town. ^_^

What do you use to model/render Dreamland? Are you running a 32-bit system or 64-bit?
Lovely house. Wish mine was that big. *Sigh* One day…

Oh goodness! That is so funny! I especially like his eyes in the last panel where he’s squinting. Alex can be so involuntarily cute sometimes.

Thats just all kinds of cool right there.
I love his face. He looks worried that the armor is going to eat him. XD
That’s a useless helmet! It messed up his hair!
Thats great! I’d love to see that animated.
Ahahah, Alex’s expression is just…classic! I agree with Sythiar, he’s very cute.
His face in the last panel is adorable! x3
I’m sorry, but I would be deathly afraid of getting my hair caught in the helmet, during one of those “chick”s…

Heh that’s an awesome helmet but it reminds me of the one from lost in space…..
Still that one is better it’s all blue and shiney

Tis a nifty helmet. (And it does remind me of the one from ‘Lost in Space’ worn by Matt LeBlanc.)
But from the lower torso down, he’s wide open. 8)

Thanks all!
This whole week is a fun one (in my opinion).
Hope you enjoy.
To answer the question for inspiration…it was actually from the Lost in Space movie. Matt Leblanc’s character had a helmet like it.
“Woohoo! I’m invincible!” LOL I love Alex! Haha. That is so him.
YESSS.
Lost in Space. That was it. Thanks XD
That sounds (& looks) so much like Boris from Goldeneye…
Poor Boris. XP
Invincible and stupid…. A dangerous mix.
Aaaand he goes flying off into the distance. Good thing he’s wearing a helmet.
