Actually, she’s NOT meat. She’s pixels. Or, if you’re reading the print version, she’s ink.
You could even make the case that in the context of the story, she’s the “stuff of dreams”.
She is bitchmeat and also damaged goods. But she does deserve some respect as a virtual person, surely.
