And in some ways I think an "Almost Kiss" is like that. Nastajia will most likely think (i.e., dwell) on another missed opportunity to confess her feelings. It will be in the back of her mind, nagging. And at the next opportunity she might worry that if she doesn't act quick enough, either the mood will be ruined or he'll wake up. (That, and worry about Felicity snatching him away.) Anotherwords, it adds <b>pressure<b>. And remember, this is already the <b>second</b> "Near-Miss Kiss" they've had.
