If years are years, then why aren’t days days? If a whole day can be thirty seconds or several hours, then six hundred yearqs could be only like fifty in real world years

Ah… only since about Colombus’ time, then? So long as the whole ‘years are years’ thing holds true in both worlds, that is, like with the ’8 years’ example… So the last human ruler was from the 14th or 15th century? I’d probably have noticed this if I was paying closer attention to earlier historical recounting, but better late than never.
