Not so much..he’s cute and has a muscular physique(plus has a few points already from growing up with her).It’s a kind of eugenics..the beautiful princess should mate with the strong and handsome fighter.It’s never with the average looking incredibly smart wizard,adviser etc

Take her flying. Killing aggressive creatures bigger than whales, fighting pirates, and rescuing her from dragons seams to help some too. A very long powerful sword does not hurt. Make sure it is displayed prominently but not in a threatening way.

Actually, I think it may be more like a long series of switchbacks, climbing a mountain.

They dance their little intellectual courtship dance, back and forth, bickering and complimenting, warming and cooling, all the while climbing slowly to the summit, where, when they reach the height of their passion and succumb to their inevitable attraction to each other, when they reach the pinnacle…

We can shove them both off and have done with it.
