I don’t have the word stressing problem because I speed-read. Not the actual speed (although I can hit over 1000 words per minute) but the technique. Not pronouncing the words, even in your head, means the stress doesn’t come from the font; it comes from the context.

On the other hand, if I slow down and actually read it, sometimes the stress is perfectly fine and at other times it’s so jarring I can barely read it (I literally have to shift back to speed-reading to get through some of them).

Personally, I like my emphasizing like I like my cussing. Rare enough that it actually means something.

It’s just to show the extra emphasis that are often used in key words in speech. Some people use italics or underline for the same effect

Seriously don’t understand. I’ve never had this problem. The words emphasized sound perfectly natural when I read them aloud, and in some instances give some insight on the characters speaking.

Okay… I’ve been reading this comic for over two hours, and got to here in one sitting. And I must say, I LIKE it!!
Kiwi’s so funny, and Paddington is the bomb! And I also read this comic called Two Kinds. Felicity looks a bit like Flora from that comic

Ah, there’s that old dwarf hardheaded stubbornness. You could spend all day trying to smack some sense into him without success.
And if dwarves have such long memories and loyalty, what about the king that Nico replaced 600 years ago?
Also, since the dwarves are so loyal to Nico, either Nico has the tablet that was entrusted to the dwarves, or the dwarves don’t know they have it.
