Just after Felicity gave Alex the amulet back at Ashendel, she started to leave. It was only when they saw smoke from the fairy village and heard from the others that Joey was there that she joined the others in rescuing them from the pirates. I wonder if that attack had not happened, if she would have returned to Nicodemus. Interesting if that was her turning point…

To be honest, I kind of expected this, it’s kinda a well known plot instrument the “double agent who turns good” it’s kinda been done. How many stories have a character who ends up on the side of the people they were going to betray

Too many people forget she essentially screwed up his plans for her. She wasn’t meant to stay with them this long. As I expected of his intent for her. Really, all he truly cares about is keeping the sword from human hands – the tablets he’d find in time, he likely believes, but the immediate threat to him was the sword when he put Felicity in that position. Certainly he would not have understood the amulet’s importance with the tablets at that time. Some people… assume far too much, perhaps. She’s no longer his lackey, that much should be certain.
