I dunno. I kinda see Alex becoming the first human King of Dreamland since Good Ol’ Nicky-Poo took over… damn dragons. I’d assume that to become King of Dreamland would require him to ‘pass over’ entirely into Dreamland, bidding the ‘real world’ farewell.
Of course, by virtue of the fact that I’m not writing this story, I could be completely wrong!

It would be totally amazing if they did get married…but then wouldn’t it be kinda tough on Alex? You know, if he started loving someone on Earth? Wow. He could lead two lives. Just as long as any of his earthly children didn’t wind up going to Dreamland, he’d be fine
