I met my husband of 26 years at work. We assembled refridgators. Been together through some pretty tough times, as well as some good times. Lived in almost every neighborhood in San Diego County. Had daughter when we lived in Miramar. She grew up in Escondido, and in Santee. It’s been a strange,long trip, and the good part is just starting.

I met my wife at the comic book store I owned. She was going to see The Crow: City of Angels with a friend who was late. She came in to browse.

My wife and I knew each other for 8 years before getting married. We’ll be celebrating out second year of marriage soon. (The anniversary was actually on the 7th but, in a rare oportunity, she’s off in another state learning how to be a better spinner.)

I loved being able to read a bit of your story. It’s awesome that the two of you have known each other for so long, and still love to spend time together. It gives me great hope for me and my husband. We met when we were both 18 at college, and I’m reminded how rare it is to find the love of your life at that age.

Of course I thought he was a geek back then, but I grew out of that.

Congratulations! 20 years is an awesome thing.

Congrats! 20 years is a long time. Only been 4 years for me and my wife. Funny we haven’t killed each other yet. Not for lack of trying.
