“Medicine” in this context means a charm or fetish. Often things like feathers or shells were kept in the bag. This sort of thing was mainly a Plains/Plateau thing, not really done by the tribes in the other areas.

I think Nicole will be the one to use the bag to go to dreamland to bring Felicity back. I also suspect that bag to be good for only one use. I remember that Nastajia’s parents were working on finding a way to get Daniel to dreamland back when Alex was a kid. Maybe something will come of that later.

Thanks, Scott. You’re cooking man, really great. I’m not much on seeing where a plot line is going and am usually pleased that it doesn’t follow what I think; but this time I’m glad that you found a way for Daniel to finally dream and possibly reunite Nicole with Felicity.

Hmm. What stands out to me is that a lot of us have mentioned wanting to see Nicole (or Dan) get to dreamland with this bag… Then Scott mentions that no one’s said what it actually does (whether that’s exactly true or not…). Now I’m really tying my brain in knots trying to figure this thing out…

P.S. It makes sense that the Native Americans and the Centaurs are friends, since many tribes did put such importance on dreams and the vision quests incorperated elements of dreaming. Centaurs that I read about prior, both in myths and fantasy stories, usually had a Greek or Roman like background and history, so I really like and appreciate the change of pace for them, and the connections between the two.

The way Orion is talking about the medicine bag, it does sound like it can bring adults into Dreamland. But maybe it’s not the bag itself but the contents in the bag. Forgive me, please, if I am going over the “all ages” limit, but the Native Americans and other such tribes around the world have been known to use hallucinogens to better connect with the spirits and other deities of their culture. Perhaps the medicine inside the bag is given to the adult before bed and it opens the capacity of the mind to travel into Dreamland.

I SO missed this comic on vacation!! Sorry I missed the debate wars but probably a good thing. I have enough drama going on with friends and now family starting trouble with me. And thanks for breaking my resolve to go to bed early tonight and catching the page in the morning. Hopefully I’ll be too tired to stay up.

I say offer the trading cards in the store, either as a bonus for ordering a certain amount of stuff, or just offer them as a stand-alone(if I could afford it, I’d definitely go for them myself!)

As far as the medicine bag, I definitely look forward to seeing what it does; if it can bring Stajia to the waking world, that would be fracking hilarious, seeing her reactions to everything Alex sees. Or, it could bring Nicole or Dan to Dreamland… I can’t wait to see what it does.
