I was speaking of them in general: they have kinda… big shoulders, really. Like bodybuilders and that doesn’t fit, at least to Dan, who’s supposed to be a nerd/geek/whatever.

You know Jess I have wondered the same thing myself. If Nastajia really expects Alex to stay faithful in both worlds or if Alex himself has even considered the implications of having a relationship with Staj (as I like to think of her sometimes). But since it is mostly a light hearted comic we will probably won’t see that explored which is fine I have no problems with that.

As for the burning the candle at both ends thing, yeah Alex probably isn’t getting any REM sleep as dreamland seems far too lucid. If you like I can get my handy PlotholeFilla 10,000 out and start her up for ya. (Whrrrrrr, buzz buzz buzz; Phoolip!) Yeah okay according to this Alex travels to dreamland by means of the sword and the sword is magic so… a wizard did it. (Poot!) Oh! Or he’s getting REM sleep on the way to and from dreamland and we just aren’t seeing it. Take you your pick. (Puts away machine.)

Lastly my take on today’s page is that the sword will stay exactly the same and the bag will appear to do likewise but the message inside it will mysteriously change. That’s how I would do it anyway.

i think at least the bag will disappear since there hasnt been any indictaion of him actually having one before it was given in Dreamland, not sure about the sword disappearing from the real world but it probably does since when he was a kid he didnt have the sword until he claimed it from the cave..i think

Dan in the last panel looks like he dislocated his shoulder. Perhaps you really should just paint the shrug in. :-/

Yeah, the shoulders look kind of off in the last panel, but if the program that’s being used for the modelling is anything like the program I used to use, it’s a pain in the butt to fix it. I’ll never live my dream as a Pixar animator ;.; *runs off crying*

The purple edge is a trick of the lighting, or an illusion caused by the lighting. Nicole’s lips are purple for me, while Dan’s are not.

I think that the sword and the bag will stay on Alex in this world until such time that they are taken from him, or given by him to someone else. The fact that Alex looks excited at what may happen next is no surprise – it may provide the proof that is needed to convince Nicole that Dreamland is a world on another plane.
