I would gladly take a know-it-all prig over a less knowledgeable though nicer person. As long as he can lead and make sound decisions, and his personality isn’t too detrimental to the international face of the kingdom, he would do for king.

Is there a slight continuity error in panel 3? Alex’s head was down, he lifts it to look at Dan in panel 2, and is in the same position in panel 4, but he looks down in 3? It seems like the “But!” would cause him to be more alert, not to look away; plus he was already talking and holding eye contact just before then. Not a big deal, but it felt a little off to me — I know you’re good at fixing those things, Scott
