that leads to a interesting thought… the ancient Egyptians didn’t use steam did they? if not, did they evolve to discover steam themselves, or did they learn it from somewhere else.

I know, I was thinking the same thing… the first recorded steam engine seems to be from the first century AD, from Greece, or so Wikipedia tells us. But hey, maybe the Egyptians had some yet unearthed technology. It’s possible.

Or maybe they just discovered the uses of steam on their own, like we did a long time ago. Two very different people on different parts of the world can have the same idea, so it’s not far-fetched.
