I have to wonder exactly how long he was knocking before his brother got up and answered the door
Dan looks like he’s been holding his “FINE” pose all night. Probably took a him a couple minutes to get the muscles to wake up and work properly.

I’d guess, just about 2 minutes. Long enough to be annoying, and abrupt enough to garner attention.
The man had a good beat going, don’t interupt!
All he has to do is knock in the 5th panel, then he wins tick tack toe.
don’t you mean tick tack bam?
What about if he didn’t realize he was still knocking when the door opened?
Tic Tac “Oh ma noze!”
