hmm…If the movie is cartoon, then i think Patrick Stuart should play the Elven Advisor, and Sean Connery should play the Merman King or Staj’s dad!

well, because of your comment, I had to take a look in the D&D Monstrous Manual, and neither earth elementals, nor stone/hill giants have any immunity of damage reduction versus fire. Assuming he’s based on an earth elemental, depending on his size, he might have some plain damage reduction though

Aaaaaugh! I feel Alex’s pain D:
This whole ‘unconcious vs sleep’ should be figured out, because if I were Alex, I would be begging the nearest person to slam, say, a hammer against my head. Get the lights niiice and out.
But he has to tell Dan, so let him be awake a little longer. Poor guy…

Sleep is not just about resting the body, it also recharges the mind. REM sleep allows the brain to process and store memory input so that there is room for more the next day. Although, perhaps with the time differences Alex is able to get some true sleep during his transfer from one world to the other.
