I’m definitely going to come back to these pages and consider some extra touches at some point before we go to print.

This is the first time I post a comment but I today I had one minor remark.
I find Arthurs buttons (the ones for his cape) like two circles put on the frame (especially the last frame). Maybe they need some more depth/shade. I hope i don’t offend you this way, because I really like this comic.
Yeah, they do kinda look like Dreamland buttons rather than Earthland buttons. Or maybe they’re Moonland buttons. I like the way they glow. OH OH! It means there are goblins about! Oh wait, they would have to be glowing blue for that! ^^

The buttons on Arthur don’t seem to fit, it’s as if they were pasted onto the image. Great comic, keep up the good…great work!
yeah i have to agree the buttons on his cloak really look like there not fitting as there clunky and really big as if he took the light caps and pasted them on his cloak,
i understand why there big but they really don’t look they fit there scott, otherwise its really wonderful. and good idea to point the sword at the guy eye instead of his throat since he impale his self on the sword and kill himself if he didn’t want to answer his questions
blood is okay but please.. not so much i really dont think children should be seeing it unless they are with parent since this comic is aimed at the family age

No, “who” is correct here. This is a common mistake made by well-meaning but misinformed amateur grammarians …

Who is correct but your link is so extremely vague and double talking that it perfectly exemplifies why the Merriam-Webster dictionary is so heavily disdained.

In this situation the pronoun who is being used in the subjective case.
Sentence: Tell me who you serve!
Tell: verb
Object: me
subjective pronoun: who
Subject: you
Rewritten: You tell me who you serve!
Which is passive voice and therefore not an imperative statement.
The only reason whom could be used is because it is the formal subjective form of the pronoun who; and since most bad Arthurian works require use of formal pronouns in all situations.
In summation, “WHOM” is not incorrect here, but “WHO” certainly is more correct.

Often if you can reword the scentence to fit he or him (or she or her) then he=who, him=whom.
Also Scott ment this as a statement rather than a question.

“Tell me who you serve” is incorrect.
If we look at just the last clause, we get “who you serve”, which may be reordered to “you serve whom?” The person we want to know is the object of the verb “serve”, so it should be whom.
Even by Megadorkynerdgoddess’s rule, we get: “Tell me him you serve!” which is better than “Tell me he you serve!” That second one is just wrong; the first is odd but works.
I think Megadork was saying reword it to a proper sentence – that is, “Tell me who he serves,” rather than “Tell me who him serves.” You gotta fix the tense to match.
In any case, grammatical correctness matters less in dialogue than it does in prose; for a comic, where almost all text is spoken, grammar is more situational than a hard-fast rule. Spoken English is different from written English; it’s less about what technically is right than what sounds right.

No, in this particular context, “who” is the more correct. Remember that all of the speech bubbles are things that are meant to be spoken and in spoken English, it is both awkward and inappropriately formal to use “whom” outside of a very select few cases. “Whom” would also disrupt the flow of the sentence given the context in which it’s spoken; in other words Arthur demanding of the man “Tell me who you serve!” has the “sound” of a spoken demand from someone who’s just overthrown an enemy and is demanding answers where “Tell me whom do you serve!” (which is the correct way to use “whom” in that sentence) sounds awkward for the context, more like a formal request from King Arthur within the well-manner setting of a court. Scott made the correct call in both the story and the properly-grammatical sense.
I’m not sure if you’re arguing the point or defending the author, but neither of those are necessary. I don’t know if Scott intended to use the wrong word and neither do you. I’m just pointing out that he did.

The only reason i even responded was because no one should ever consider Webster to be any sort of verified source. I would use wikipedia long before i sourced Webster.

Uhmmm… I have no idea… Not enough has been established to clearly represent the situation besides your constant, vague comments to the fact… If readers were fully versed in Arthurian legend, they might have a clue, but as a standalone series, the author has probably got some explaining and exposition to do… And then put it back before this scene possibly… And then explain the nightmare world treaty too since it is handled as a known when it was never fleshed out…
