So I was able to finish up today’s page before heading to my meetings this morning.

Thank you all for your support during this new chapter in our life.
I’ve been doing Dreamland full time for 4 years now. It’s going to be very odd to not have it as the priority in my career.
Again. I WILL finish this story. But it may take a bit longer now.

But you knew they had to be showing up at some point–the only question was when, and since Scott wasn’t going to give us page after page of chanting, it had to be soon…
Bad wraiths! How come wraiths are always the bad guys–to name just a few examples: here, Lord of the Rings, Harry Potter?

I’m pretty sure that the wraiths want the ritual to be successful so they can incite Nic to rebel. They don’t seem the sort to take action openly.
I’m thinking they’ll want the ritual to succeed so that they can take the amulet for themselves. Don’t ask me why, but I just get the feeling that taking possession of the amulet is as much a part of their plans as turning Nicodemus against Arthur.
Makes sense… I guess we’ll see what happens….

well, as this is just a flashback and we already _know_ the amulet thing works… (and furthermore we know it used to be kept by Orion without Nicodemus knowing about it)
btw i believe this centaur is not Orion, but some different guy. after all Arthur lived some thousand or more years ago (i’m not speaking about Merlin — beeing a wizard, we may even meet him in the future).
The two amulets are making a bracelet that I believe we have not seen yet in the comic. You might be thinking about the Bahta Alikchi which already exists in the flashback and has been used by Merlin.

Well, I have – at long last – finally made my first official contribution to the Dreamland Wiki. It wasn’t much, just a couple of corrections to the above linked Bahta Alikchi page; but every little bit helps, right?

If you took a look at page 1119 then you see that the wraiths are already in Camelot…
Thanks, I did catch them on that page. I found that if I brightened and added contrast it was easier to see them. Default on my screens leaves me only seeing the eyes.

I think Scott is trying to keep this family friendly. Dreamland chronicles still has its pg rating.
Even villains wear clothes under cloaks. I know Scott is keeping The Dreamland Chronicles family friendly.
Besides, I can see a bit of the wraiths’ light colored clothing beneath their cloaks….
I think they’re either pterodactyl-like, or dragon-people, which may be why their so close to Nick.

You know Scott, you should definitely provide the chant translations in the back of the printed book as an extra.
Better yet, he should put a chart of the letters in the back of the book and let people figure it out for themselves. That’s half the fun. ^.^

Wraiths, no nic. Who really trapped Arthur? And what is being trapped? I imagine some sort of endless, fog filled void. Bet Arthur ended up dying of boredom.
Ooh…what if Arthur is trapped IN Nicodemus? And the reason Nick is so messed up is that Arthur is beating himself around the inside of Nicodemus’ mind like a bird on meth trapped in a cage?

That would be messed up… Nic prevents the wraiths from attacking, which would provide just too much distraction, and cause what they were after anyway, leaving them a clear out.

Funny, but this isn’t Orion who is alive today. It is some Centaur that was alive 600 years ago. Don’t think he has been given a name yet.

My one question is whether or not the movie will come out before this is finished and whether or not its planned to be part of a series. If its encapsulated in one film, wouldn’t that “spill the beans” about what is going to happen in the daily webcomic?
