Take care of yourself and Donna, spend a bit of time with the kids because I’m sure they’ve had a bit of a shock over all of this, even if they weren’t in the car for the actual accident.
Then worry about the comic and us, we’ll still be here waiting patiently – family first though.

I think this kind of thinking is why it’s better that Alex is the King of Dreamland, but in reality I see these two as two sides of the same coin. Which is interesting in the nature vs nurture debate and the fact that their twins. If you could combine them into one person, they/he would be the perfect King. As it stands since only one may enter Dreamland, I think Alex will be getting lots of advice from his brother for the duration of his reign.

I’m glad, especially after your car accident, you took Labor Day off and didn’t post a new comic. Hope you have a fun and relaxing day

I really seem to be one of the few against Dan putting on that necklace. ‘Staj will be mad that Alex chickened out, and I can’t imagine that anyone in Dreamland, with the exception of Nic, liking the fact that their king was a coward and couldn’t face the fact that he would have to wage war. This is something Alex has to work out for himself, not run away and send in a subordinate when the going gets rough. Also, all the people there would be going “Who the heck is this guy, and why did he appear where Alex just was?” They don’t know Dan, what he looks like, who he is as a person. I think it is a very bad idea to let Dan try it now. Wait a few days, once all the action has died down, then send in Dan.

On another subject, I’m very glad you and Donna are okay. I don’t have a license yet, nor have I been in a crash, but I’ve seen enough to know how terrifying that can be. Just glad you guys are okay, but take it easy. I’d have nightmares (probably courtesy of Nic and his Nightmare Realm friends) for weeks about another car accident.

Oh yeah, and I have to say Dan would be a waaay better King, he’s a lot like Arthur imo.
But I guess it’s more likey to work out that Dan doesn’t become king but can still visit with the sword (in the end that is)
