Ooooh O_o I think You might be on to something. Sounds more plausible than “Evil Nicole” *hearing Scott vaguely snickering in the background* although..I am not the only one that raised an eyebrow about the name-correlation..Nic..Nicole..

I wonder how you are reading these comments Scott. Is it like an evil mastermind going: “nope, close, nu-uh, now he has the idea” and so forth. Or more panicked as in “Damn thats a good idea why didn’t I plan it like that”.

I don’t think Nicole is a sleeper agent, pardon the pun. She has been like most humans, accessing it as a child but being eventually shut out. The fact she has come into contact with that part of her past makes her a good ally, firmly grounded on this side but still able to understand what is going on without sticking the boys in some I-Love-Me Jackets.

But Nic has a pretty good understanding of this whole back and forth bit with Alex, so the first thing he should be doing is scouting the waking world with the wraiths, especially now that he knows the sword is back in play and giving advise, albeit in its own fashion.

Plus who is to say that the wraiths will interfere? While they are happy to let Nic run his part of the pie, if they stand aside and let Alex and Nic duke it out and then snipe off the (probably heavily damaged) winner they can take the whole thing for themselves. It would be funny if the Nightmares jumped the gun and in so doing force the Boys and Dragon to fight back to back against a common threat. But now we are just getting Machivellian.

I think it’s funny that everyone is questioning Nicole. What has she done to be suspicious so far (other than kissing Dan, which people seem to think is a suspicious thing)? Maybe I’m too naive, but I took this page as a scene where Dan explains things to Nicole… so we the audience could know what’s going on. Nothing less, nothing more. Personally, I hope Nicole isn’t evil. She’s a nice side character to have around in the waking world. The whole femme fatale twist seems a bit cliche… and silly, really. Why does the secondary female love interest have to turn evil, guys? Can’t Dan have a little happiness, especially since Scott threw in that “autobiographical” cute scene with her complimenting him? Just my opinion.

The wraith ideas are interesting, though – especially since the room has to be dark because Alex is sleeping. I think we all might be letting our imaginations get carried away on a few other points though… there’s a point when there are too many plot twists in a short span of time!
