Yes, these panels speak out of my soul… if my excitement was an animal, it would probably be an elephant…

Some people will be like “FILLER”, if previous comments were any indication.
I will instead voice my opinion that these pages are AMAZING. I love the way you’re pacing this. It’ll read with such suspense, and these last few pages really show how nervous yet excited Felicity is about this. I really, truly love these pages. It’s like a “lull” in the characters’ lives that we get to experience – just them being themselves.
Oh, and as I got distracted ranting about how much I love these pages, I meant to continue on to say that these pages are anything but filler. So I’ll say that now, lol.

I prefer to call it “Character Development”, which is something instrinsic to good storytelling…
So regardless of how long it takes, I view it as adding a necessary element to the story, and I enjoy every bit of it.
People also forget: this is like reading a graphic novel a page a day. If you were reading this in a sitting, turning pages, this is a normal reading pace and pages like this are just fine.

Scott, can I suggest that you capture a low aerial shot above the girls’ heads? I think it would really illustrate the slow pace, and particularly how they’re visually sifting through the crowd.

I was just thinking, Don’t you reappear where you last disapeared? I don’t think she’s waiting in the right place…?
This appears to be close to the last place Felicity saw Nichole in Dreamland. As such, it’s probably her best bet. It’s possible she increased her odds by having Alex stand in the same place before he woke up, so that whichever turns out to be true – you wind up in the same place you were in Dreamland when you left, or when using the Sword you appear where Alex was – she’s in the right place to greet Nichole the moment she shows up. (tackle, GLOMP!)
It’s maybe a bit of an odd observation, but I really like how felicity’s mouth renders in frame 3. You can actualy see her shaping her vowels.. cool..

It’s subtle sometimes…but glad someone noticed.
Now we need for Nicole to turn up and if so,can you see her dragging Alex’s sword with her?
Ah HA!! It would have been a Friday cliffhanger! I’m very glad that the slow rendering made it necessary to move the page to today. At least there’s hope for a quicker resolution now.

On Wendnesday we’ll see (if) it go(es) horribly wrong?
noticed that the flowers that were so readily apparent a couple pages ago isn’t visible here.
I think they were Photoshopped in on the first page (the big flower wasn’t there before) and rendered in the actual scene on the following pages. Since they were rendered with everything else, now shadows are on it. So yeah… it’s probably on the list of things to fix later for consistency.
I love these pages. It’s nice to see Kiwi and Felicity hang out like this.
oh yeah, ferclity just sitting there ho-hum with kiwi is just so EXCITING and NERVE-WRACKING, i can barely stand it. :/
