I am FURIOUSLY filling out orders since we got Book Five in last week.
I have over 1,000 sketches to do, so PLEASE be patient.
We’re trying to get as many out before Christmas as possible.
Thank you ALL for your support every year. You are all TRULY amazing and I can’t tell you HOW much it all means to me and my family.
Every year I look at my kids’ growing Christmas list and wonder “how am I going to pay for this?”
And every year…I get just enough last minute orders from my readers to make Christmas shopping possible again.

A floating island the shape of a bird flying? Well, it is Dreamland and no one would really be suspicious of such a shadow.

He might not be the only dragon in Dreamland… Although at this point, any dragon would probably cause panic among our stalwart crew.
Not Nic. Wings of dragon dost not curl forward, like an eagle’s. Nor has he a fan tail, like a bird. And, unless he has access to lotta quality healing magic, it’d take much longer to recover from being run through. Lung to heal, bones to mend, muscles to knit (without which no flying too) Course, all kinda magic here, but all depends on what found him under the sea. And if they were of a mind to help. Course, no body means he gonna pop up somewhere/time. Mebbe where the parents are held?

I think I have to agree. The image is too “fuzzy” to get an accurate idea of what this might be, but another theory for everyone is a Roc. A GIANT bird of mythical proportions. Easiest thing to take into consideration, and just the kind of thing that might have come from the Nightmare Realm.
Cause you can. Head is on a short neck, tail trails behind. Not even remotely to fuzzy to tell. Ever watch a bird or how it’s wings curve when open and in flight? Never mind a dragons wings are angular, with thumb and finger bones making the leading edge angular as well. Also to Von: This was about it not being a dragon, or specifically Nic. Don’t give a flying frig what species of bird it is, real or imagined.
I have to agree with Sleel. It’s clear from the silhouette and Sleel’s description that whatever this thing is has FEATHERS. Therefore I think we can say that it is not Nic unless the healing magic transformed him in to a bird.

On a serious note: We know the Nightmare Realm can create Flying Pirate Ships. If this “Ancient” Civilization could create a Flying City… It begs the question: “What else could they make fly?”
My first thought was….Batman.
But then I realized…I had a script in front of me…and realized, to my dismay, that it wasn’t….sigh.

Just because the script says it isn’t Batman, doesn’t mean it won’t be. Actually, the fact that he isn’t scripted to be there might make him more likely to show up, because that’s how Batman operates.

IT’S NICK! lol i know it probably isn’t, but would be a cool plot twist if it was.
My first thought was ‘Superman!’, then I thought “OH crap, it’s Nick!”. But I agree with some of you other guys – it’s early for Nick to back up. And how could Nick have found them?They’re in the middle of the ocean.
Here’s something though – what if Nick isn’t the only dragon in Dreamland? After all, we never found out what the Guardians were, did we?
And, what if Nic was one of the former Guardians of Seraphopolis? That would make some back story regarding the beginnings of his corruption, eh?

Note to Kiwi: the Eurasian crane migrates by flying high above the Himalayan mountains. They’ve been seen flying at a height of 10 000 meters, halfway up to the stratosphere.
So yeah, birds can fly quite high.
