I can see how Niviene would just be surprised at the interruption, but as a storyteller myself, I would have loved it and buffed my nails on my chest for getting my audience on the edge of their seat like that. But then, ‘Staj being embarrassed by Alex just never gets old.
Niviene probably isn’t used to talking to people much as she was hiding for the past how many hundred years. She probably forgot what it’s like to tell stories to people.
I love Niviene’s expression in the last panel! It’s awesome. Granted, I hate that I have to wait the whole weekend to get the rest of her story, though. Grah! XD XD Still, totally worth the wait. Good stuff.
