Your version of the Merlin/Niviene story is very interesting, Scott. I like that Merlin actually ASKED to be imprisoned in the mystic tree in order to seek Arthur. Cool twist. I’ve always liked the versions where there is actual affection between Merlin and the Lady, rather than her being a spiteful villain who just wants his power.
