I love the forest environment and how everything has a softer glow to it
Definite change from the Boulder Garden.
I would love to find a place like that to lean against a tree and read in. It looks so peaceful there

Gee, he was there for seven years (admittedly not for the past eight), and he can’t remember anything? That’s straining my willing suspension of disbelief. I can remember some details from stories I read once or twice a lot longer ago than that.
Keep in mind that he was only visiting in his dreams- can you remember anything from dreams you had eight years ago?
Yes, if I wrote them down, or told someone.
But keep in mind Alex doesn’t have very much brain matter… d’oh!
Moreover, he is cod-swaggled by seeing the girl of his dreams, all grown up.
