Was also thinking about Merlin, but he is trapped in a tree in France that I’m sure Naviene watches closely… I would be very surprised if she didn’t know about him; though you could possibly argue the attack on Naviene released him.

this is my thought…According to the hieroglyphics, the portal was closed suddenly, and while they make mention on the Humans in Dreamland, and the nightmare creatures in our world, it also makes sense that other Ambassadors from dreamland were trapped here on Earth.
