Will be a short week this week guys.
I’ll explain more tomorrow.
I really hope Alex is proved to be right here! I sure hope Nivienne appears just as a small first lesson towards Nastaja’s parents that Alex’ first goal is the well being of their daughter, beside the whole well being of Dreamland.
I want to find the page where Nievienne gets attacked, but I can’t find it… any help!? I want to reread it.
nevermind, found it… I was looking in the wrong place:p
Can you share the link? I honestly don’t remember that at all.
The attack starts on the previous page but the best view of it is here: http://www.thedreamlandchronicles.com/comic/page-1588/ It’s right before Dan and Nicole get attacked and Nastajia’s parents show up to rescue them.
Alex: And the nightmare beasts are nothing! I doubt if those weak, limp-limbed, wasted demonic wannabes would have been able to harm her much, let alone even slow me down – I mean, if they had any spines, they wouldn’t be hiding in the water, they’d be out on land…
Nightmare captain: That is IT! Open the portal – we’re gonna TAKE this gobshite!
Aaw nuts – I hate short weeks!
Let’s hope that Alex’s obsession to get back to Nastajia won’t lead him down a dark path…!
Fear leads to anger, anger leads to hate, hate.. to suffering 😀
Shâsotjontû châtsatul nu tyûk.
Tyûkjontû châtsatul nu midwan.
Midwanjontû châtsatul nu asha.
Ashajontû kotswinot itsu nuyak.
Wonoksh Qyâsik nun.
if we weren’t so close to the end, i think Dark!Alex would make for an awesome arc. well, *maybe* there’s enough story left……..
In that case, what would Dark-Alex wear?
A.a darker version of his Dreamland armor only with crossbones on the front similar to that obscure Golden Age hero the Black Terror-complete with skull like helmet?
B.an outfit similar to the character of Venger from the 1980s Dungeons & Dragons cartoon?
I, for one, immediately made a parallel with Siegfried/Nightmare.
He has a Glowing Magic Sword, If I was him I would stab the pond and open my own rift to dreamland.
Wait, glowing? ACK! I missed that! That can only mean one thing: the Nightmare Realm has emissaries near! *grin* Alex may find a different way back to Dreamland.
Hmm… Comparing to before when Dan and Nicole went to the lake to visit Niviene I see that the sword is not yet glowing at full brightness but it is definitely glowing. That probably means that an attack is not yet imminent, or maybe just that the Nightmare Realm is near but not yet too near. Either way let’s hope that Alex and Staj’s parents take heed.
Or, alex found the ambient flashlight switch on the swords handle?
Slash the pond surface with Excalibur, Alex! At worst you’ll fall in and look silly; at best you’ll open a portal to Dreamland.
Of course it will be an underwater portal and if Niviene isn’t there to give you the Mer-kiss, you’ll probably drown…
Gerk! o_O I knew she’d been attacked, but somehow seeing Alex dealing with this is harder.
Niviene’s too powerful to get taken down by a bunch of Nightmare Realm beasts. I’m with Alex on this one for sure!
The Queen’s expression does not seem right for this scene. It seems plastic and a little derpy.
Ding dong, the witch is dead.
Remember folks this is DREAMLAND. I wonder, just how powerful can a truly FOCUSED dream be?
About as strong as a small pony.
I’m sure you’d get a faster response if you had a Jackson in your hand instead of a giant sword. Just my recommendation.
I’m surprised no one has mentioned that now is the time for the king and queen to show they are wraiths, if they are
I can’t tell if the sword is glowing or if that’s just the way it shows up in the light available. Guess we’ll see, huh. Things are sure heating up in this story. =)
