It always amuses me, that women in fantasy lands wear cloths or even armor that barely covers anything. Whats’t the point of Nastaja wearing shoulderpads and no breastplate?
Wouldn’t want her shoulders getting hurt, would we?
I think Felicity’s supposed to be some kind of gypsy catgirl, so her clothing makes sense I suppose.
Obviously Maklak, if minimal armour must be worn, it makes sense to have it cover the sensitive bits if nothing else. Duh.
Not sure about the whole massive-shoulder-plates thing, other than maybe to stop the arms getting hacked off. That’d be a bit of a problem too.
Aside from that, maximum dexterity = win.
Typically in fantasy women value speed over protection so they use less armor than men.
We all know thats not the real reason they do it, but its the best reason for it to work
Distraction is a very effective combat tactic. Sex appeal is a weapon in its own right …
TekServer makes a valid point.
Unless your opponent is a straight female. Or a gay male. Or blind. Or asexual. Or…
There are more kinds of distraction than the positive, approving kind.
