Of course! Who wouldn’t want their life to end by being eaten by a giant horrible monster, death acheiving nothing and not finishing their quest?
Why would Paddington even bother hiding? I highly doubt the Kraken would want to eat rock, but you never know.
He should intentionally try to get eaten … it would break all the ‘fishy’s teeth as well as likely plug it’s mouth!

The humanoid torso is a bit off-putting 0___0
