comics for September 19, 2007 – 09/19/2007
Normally, I like dragons. But Nicodemus is a really nasty jerkasaurus.
Pendragon – The supreme war chief of the ancient Britons.
Nisodemu’s wing in fourth panel looks weird.
The irony in all this, of course, is that there’s absolutely JACK known about any figure in history who could have ACTUALLY been King Arthur. The closest we have is a ruler from well BEFORE the time the Arthurian legend is usually set in. As in, war chieftain native to “Britain” who fought against the ROMANS. Hell, some theories have it that the famed “Arthur” was really a female ruler.
But then, this is Dreamland. Not only do I risk Felicity’s life by pointing this out (dragging real information into fantasy discussion means God kills a catgirl), but myth ought to hold at least as much sway as proper truth, if not more.
The dude was Welsh.
I thought it was Cornish?
Apparently Avalon was in the Severn Estuary between Wales and Cornwall… not that such should sway one’s opinion one way or other.
Actually, King Arthur was a hedgehog.
And the hedgehog once worked with the ghost of a bird to defeat a demon … oh, wait, sorry; wrong comic again …
I KNEW I’D SEEN YOU ON DIGGER!
what comic was that TekServer?
He refered to Digger of course.Seriously guys(and girls) read that comic,it’s overloaded with awesomenes :D.
REMEMBER TUNNEL 17!
No Arlene, that was King Spiny Norman 😉
What happened to purple dragons being funny and having a cute dragonfly sidekick?
I may not know Nico that well, but I think that if Sparx got anywhere near him, Nico would have eaten the little bugger… Not that I have anything against Sparx.
