Actually, it’s a trick of persepective – he’s really standing much closer to the “camera” than Nastajia is. Here’s a quick experiment you can do at home:

1) Hold your thumb up, arm fully extended away from your face. Note the size of your thumb compared to a stationary object farther away.

2) Now bring your thumb in, just an inch or two away from your eye, and compare its apparent size with the same stationary object.

3) Now poke yourself in the eye with your thumb, and *go to the next page.*
