I haven’t read comics since I was a kid, and have been rather put off by the look of the newer comics. I’ve avoided them completely, arguing they seem rather generic, and even less emotional thanks to computers.

You can imagine my surprise to see and read this one. I was not only hooked on the storyline, but also pulled into your artwork. You have created a world I am drawn towards, never having realized I’ve already fell head first into. I am completely hooked. You have made me reevaluate my opinion of new comics, as well as their artists.

Growing up with a sister into animation and graphic design, I have found one thing. There are many artists that are talented and can draw well. They can make a living at their trade, and do good work. However there are a rare few that have “it”, the ability to make you feel as if any moment the character will walk right out of the page or you will walk right into the page. You most definitely have “it.” I look forward to being a new regular reader, and meeting you at Philcon. Thanks for the new perspective.
