Every time I see Kiwi and Paddy talking to each other, I know that they’re meant for each other. They’re just an exaggeration of the big giant guys and the most petite gals that marry each other. They may have to have a celibate relationship because of their species differences, but then, it’s Dreamland. She’s a faerie. There could be something magical to turn her into a rock giant, or him into a faerie for a night of baby-making. Of course, that wouldn’t happen on-screen. This is G-rated.

Perhaps they don’t appear per see, but manifest themselves in waking imaginations and then are expressed in our works of art or fiction, likely by other names and with some alterations in appearance as we try to interpret them. Just a thought.

I like that one of Kiwi’s eyes is all squinty while the other is normal in the third panel. It makes her seem that much more real
