@ Tom – I think you are right, but could it be that her hesitation is partially out of fear, and partially out of a moral conflict? It’s pretty easy to say – no I don’t want to get caught – than to say – no, I don’t want to do that, isn’t it wrong?

You should give NeilMed a try. It’s an actual sinus wash. I’m not sure that Zicam is intended for extended use. You might check with the pharmacy tech about that. But NeilMed just uses the wonderous inflammation-reducing properties of a saline wash to clean out the sinuses. You can do it daily or weekly or whatever. Great stuff for when you’re healthy or sick!

I can’t take Zicam. It gives me post-nasal drip, which makes my sinuses and throat raspy for weeks. For some of us, the cure is worse than the cold.
I heard you can’t take zinc with vitamin C or they negate each other. It might be okay when you take the zinc through your nose, but you may want to avoid orange juice for an hour after Zicam, just to be safe.
