Looks like you found your character’s personalities. They seem less like dead weight now compared to the first few chapters. I’m starting to enjoy this more and more.

I’ve got a major sweet tooth, but I’ve never experienced a sweets-related stomach ache.

I agree that he should be more in the fetal position if he’s curling up because of a stomache ache, but that’s just a nitpick.

And “dorm” is perfectly fine to use. I’ve never known anyone who said “Hey, let’s go back to the Resident Hall.” Everyone just says “let’s go back to the dorm.” I myself don’t live in them anymore, but I still know plenty of people that do.
