If I didn’t know better, I’d think there was a link between all the sick or injured characters (Felicity, Alex, others?) and your own health. Maybe it’s time to “see the light” and take time to heal…

Scott, hon, take as much time as you need. I’ll check back every day to make sure I don’t miss out when you do come back, but that doesn’t mean you have to hurry. Get well, get healthy, and spend some quality time with your family, too.

Hi all…
It’s Sunday morning.
Yesterday wasn’t feeling so good.
I was able to send some panels to the render. And today I’m going to try and finish the next page.
If I can.

And don’t worry. I won’t kill myself.

Unfortunately it hurts to sit (because it bends my spine forward). But I do feel that excersise will help.

We bought a Wii Fit and are doing the yoga and other training. I go to Physical Therapy again on Wednesday.

My Blood Pressure seems to be going down. And hopefully in the next few weeks to a month…all will be back to normal.

But we’ll see.

I’ll keep you all updated and hopefully midnight tonight…there’ll be another comic page.

My dad had this really strong pain in his left leg. It kept coming and going, but was more or less constant. For over a year it was there — the doctors tested him for neuropathy, all sorts of stuff. It turned out it was a sarcoma (type of cancer) around the level of his waist, growing around the main nerve that went into his leg. Sarcomas don’t leave blood markers — there’s no test that can reveal them, except for an MRI and then only if they’re big enough to see them.

After a year and a half of near constant radiation treatments and chemotherapy, my dad was finally released from the hospital. It’s been nine years now and his MRI’s to see if he has any more lumps in his body have now faded to only yearly.

If nobody can figure out what the pain is from, but it’s still more or less a constant figure in your life, get a full body MRI. The doctors only noticed the lump in my dad’s bdy because one tech accidentally took an x-ray too high up the leg and they noticed the lump at his waist, in the top inch of the x-ray.

Scott, glad to hear you are starting to feel better. This doesn’t mean you have to rush back into doing the comics though. Take your time. Of course we all want to see more pages but we are also willing to wait as long as it takes. Don’t feel you need to rush to please us, you have already done that by sharing this wonderful comic with us.
