Isn’t that how it usually go the big man is all calm and gentle and the little man is like” What did you just say?!” itching for a fight.. My uncle is like that -_-;; well 2 of them at least… and they are the shorter ones… The big ones are all calm and serene.

Also … sorry for posting twice, but it just occurred to me that dogs are also like this. Big dogs are usually gentle and calm, and little dogs are yappy and annoying.

Maybe not quite a tank, Silverwolf; but yeah, I get your point …

You know, the rock giants being pacifists is also a necessary plot device, if you think about it. After all, old Nick got roughed up pretty bad (as far as we know, anyway) by a clan of dwarves. Just think about what a good sized family of angry rock giants could do to him! If they got a hold on him, there’s just no way he’d survive that fight.

Ergo, the author removes that possibility from the story, in a very plausible manner …

I think that’s what’s endearing about both races … the huge rock giants wouldn’t hurt a fly, but the itty-bitty fairies kick total butt. XD
