Hi Everyone!

I’m back from Chicago and the ALA show. It was great.

I got to meet the great people from http://www.unshelved.com/ who were right next to us.

I also got to see Andy Runton (Owly) and of course hang out at the IDW booth.

Chicago is a nice city. Very “artsy”.

The pizza wasn’t to my liking (give me a NY Sicilian thick crust any day). But overall we had good food.

The Indiana police, though, I don’t like.

They literally sat on the border of Kentucky/Indiana and pulled over the whole left lane. STOOD in the middle of traffic and pulled us all over.

They set up a speed trap (70mph speed limit in Kentucky….55mph once you cross over). And just stood there pulling EVERYONE over and giving us $170 tickets.

So I’m not happy with them.

On the way home…I remembered the spot…and sure enough…there they were. It’s like Printing Money I guess for them.

Ugh.

On to brighter things.

It is exactly ONE week until San Diego Comic Con!

I have SO many things to bring. I kind of want to run it all by you.

So here goes…

The Dreamland Chronicles Book One

The Dreamland Chronicles Book Two

The Dreamland Chronicles Book Three (SD COMIC CON PREMIERE)

Paddington Rumblebottom III Plush (SD COMIC CON PREMIERE)

Kiwi Figure

Nastajia Figure

Alexander Figure (SD COMIC CON PREMIERE)

Felicity Figure (SD COMIC CON PREMIERE)

10 different Trading/Sketch Cards (SD COMIC CON PREMIERE)

The Dreamland Chronicles Poster (SD COMIC CON PREMIERE)

Kids Graphic Novel Poster (SD COMIC CON PREMIERE)

Pet Robots

Ed’s Terrestrials

Hyperactive (SD COMIC CON PREMIERE)

My Grandparents are Secret Agents (SD COMIC CON PREMIERE)

Gary the Pirate (SD COMIC CON PREMIERE)

Cameron and his Dinosaurs (SD COMIC CON PREMIERE)

Whew…

So I had a thought…

For the Trading Cards. I would do the following two options.

1) Sell them 2 at a time. There are 5 days. So 2 a day each day.

2) Give out a complete set with any purchase of $40 (essentially 2 books or a book and a plush).

Does that sound fair?

I’ve still not found a good way to get these to the rest of you. But I’m working on that.

Please let me know your thoughts. And I’m really looking forward to seeing you guys there.

Thanks

Scott
