ha, before I read Radical-Knight’s post, I thought Random was calling Alex brain-dead, like related to how Nicole compared Alex + Dan by saying Dan has a brain, which implies she thinks Alex doesn’t. And I thought Random was suggesting maybe it’s Alex’s inter-world experiences that are making him lacking a brain =P Forgot that he actually goes “brain-dead” according to Nicole’s machines when he dreams =P

I think he becomes brain-dead as a result of his mind/soul, going to dreamland. Anyway, I can’t wait to see what the note says! (I just hope it’s not blank…)

OK, the sword passes between worlds, in Dreamland it’s a weapon in RL as an amulet. The Armor remains in Dreamland. When he received the sword amulet he went to Dreamland in the “Smiley” boxers he wore to bed (glad he doesn’t sleep in the natural). Other times he went to sleep, his clothes went with him.

Anything from RL will crossover into Dreamland but only magically prepared items can cross back into RL? So he could carry messages to Dreamland in his pockets but must have a medicine bag to bring communications back?

Orion did say that dream quests could bring adults to Dreamland but it was very exhaustive. Is Alex able to crossover without much liability because of the sword amulet and also that he becomes brain-dead during dreaming?

Never mind… I have no idea where this derailed train of thought was leading me.

I think that Dan looks awfully calm, considering what I huge shock this should be! Also, I think that we won’t find out right away what the letter said… although I suspect it says something about how Dan can support Alex, etc.

What I like is the way Alex didn’t say anything back to Nicole after her snarky remark; his look said it all. It also looks like Nicole kind of regrets saying it.

I think Dan is just a little freaked at some level; it’s one thing to argue for Alex and take the position that something is real about what is happening when Alex goes to sleep. It’s quite another thing when the UNKNOWN sends YOU a message.

This is going to be an interesting week.

That’s kind of funny. Over at TGT it’s like moderate traffic, moderate traffic, moderate traffic, Scott mentions that he’d like some support from us, WHAM! TWO HUNDRED+ VISITORS A DAY! Lol, with influence like that it’s just a matter of time til he orders us to take over the world. Not that I have a problem with that, if you ask me the world’s asking for it.

Ah, surprise Dan, special, I mean Really special, delivery. And he asks What’s it say? and Alex says I dunno, I didn’t read it. No really, I didn’t. Stop looking at me like that. Whap.

Bet it’s a single magic word that drags Dan to Dreamland. That’d be cool. Take the red pill Dan.

I was expecting a bit more of a bewildered look on Dan’s face when he found out it was written specifically to him… from someone in dreamland…
