I confess that when I was Alex’s age I took advantage of the occasional extra credit to avoid failing a class. Years later, with a bit more maturity, work ethic, and motivation under my belt, I took advantage of the occasional extra credit to secure or ensure an A grade.
20 years after my first foray into college life, after many stops and restarts, I finally secured a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science. I graduated magna cum laude. This was 11 years ago now, and remains one of my proudest accomplishments.
So never give up, Alex! ?
