Yaya sum blood lol
Wait–some Nightmare Beasts actually DON’T bleed green?
I’m guessing that little helmet effect is taken out of the Lost In Space movie?
Other than the space fighter dogfight at the beginning, that was the only cool thing in the movie…
I so totally still want that armour…
Kind of reminds me of Stargate actually.
Stargate indeed. The movie though, not any of the series.
I in with stargate.
Yeah, I’m thinking Stargate as well about the helmet. It’s too bad they never used that effect in the TV series
In the words of Teilk, “indeed.”
The fifth panel looks like if he cut Nastajia.
The gargs crit-failed their intimidation check and provoked an attack of opportunity.
Alex is like “you ruined my MOMENT!! I was bout to go below deck” Euphamism and pun intended
Nice nautical euphemism… ^_^
But if you make a:
“climbing the hawsepipe,”
“unplugging the scupper,”
“pumping out the bilge,”
“re-packing the stuffing box,”
or, heaven help you, a “swabbing the poopdeck” reference, Nastajia may just shoot you.
Monsters killed by Giant Toothpicks: 1
Alex needs like a battle-cry or somethin’. Its just not as cool for the hero to “armor-up” then quietly start cutting up bad guys. Its like he”s bored or something.
You know what, if these are from the nightmare realm, then why do they bleed red blood? Unlike nicodemous and whatever else bled green blood…. Why do they bleed green blood, I need explanation!
how come he has blonde hair and black eyebrows? And everybody look, his eyes are no longer green!
His eyes are still green. It just looks different because his pupils are dialated because it’s night.
I don’t know. I think I’m more partial to the bow. Love the “FWIP” sfx.
The blood is red! Why is it so?
there goes the theory of green-blooded nightmares
noooo the blood is red
they aren’t nightmares!!!
hey this whole strip is nothing but sfx
no talking at all
they are cute cause they aren’t nightmares, because nightmares bleed green right???
in his tekka armor Alexander becomes TEKKAMAN, SPACE KNIGHT!!!!
Alex swings his sword at a Lesser Goyle.
Alex HITS a Lesser Goyle for 124 points of damage.
Alex has slain a lesser Goyle!
“In the words of Teilk, “indeed.—
Actually, his name is Teal’c. And they did use the helmet effect a scant few times in the series, but it really could have been done more often.
The movie is better, but the series is still good. I was already a fan of Ben Browder and Claudia Black when they brought them in, too…
I’d hoped that they’d make movie sequels following the Bill McKay Stargate novels. McKay actually stayed faithful to the movie and the characters…and when I met Alexander Cruz at ComiCon, he said he’d read them. “Man, I wish they did the show this way! They made Skarra a total badass!”
that’ll be quite a mess to clean up afterward. what will they do, chuck the baddies’ bodies overboard? but there are so many…
What I want to know is why they all landed in order to do a frontal attack… why not fly down from behind, as well?
Of course, I’m reading this for the first time, so I may find out later that they did split into two groups to do just that…
Lowbie minions for them to practice on and gain XP ?
How thoughtful of Nic!
Alex needed to learn how to handle his sword, anyway.
They should show their appreciation to Nic the next time they meet.
They’re Gargoyles, Jim. You need magic weapons to hurt these monsters.
Could be worse, though. Demona could be leading them.
YES! Blood! >:D.
Red or green blood???
You have succeeded in evoking the single greatest sequence nostalgia of my life.
*The RedWings ships speed through the skies*
“Captain Cecil! Monsters approaching!”
Americans! “Shoot first, shoot later, shoot some more and then when everybody’s dead try to ask a question or two.”
And that last part is optional.
