I think he did
well, he hasnt exactly done a good job hiding the fact he controls Nightmares
And here come the cavalry!
I have to think that calling the queen of elves who has a deadly vegeance against you “Sweetness” won’t turn out too well.

They should just make Alex hold the sword and amulet and then procrastinate until he wakes up… effectively abandoning is comrades which an angry Nicky then kills… okay, maybe that isn’t a good idea.

So a gigantic horde of monsters after all, guess nic doesn’t like the idea of taking to sword from them with the sharp end pointed towards him
