Thanks for taking the time to check out the First Books Charity Sketchcard page.
I’m so thrilled to help promote this Literacy Program with my fellow comic book and animation artists.
Thank you all so much for taking the time to donate your talents to help promote literacy in helping First Book get books out to kids who can’t afford them.
It’s amazing what we can do (as artists) to make the world a better place. Just by donating some time to put pen, pencil, or marker to a simple sketch card.
The work below is a collection of cards we’ve received so far.
Below you’ll see cards from Tim Sale, Sergio Aragones, Frank Cho, Dean Yeagle, Joe Pekar, David Peterson, and many more.
NOTE:
We are only asking for ONE sketchcard per artist.
A few kind artists donated a SECOND (and in some cases more) for my 6 year old twin sons Logan and Brendan.
Please do NOT feel obligated to do that. Please…
I promise. They will not be at Baltimore Comic Con with Spider-Man and Darth Vader costumes staring at you while you sketch. So you can just do ONE sketchcard for this charity.
I’ll be doing my final collection of cards at the Baltimore Comic Con.
I hope you can help us out. And want to thank you once again.

I’ve been on you for months now about these. I’m not going to be in baltimore at all, but I’d like to do a few of these if you still need some done man. I’d like to do as many as you’d let me… but perhaps you’d let me do about 10? If you have em that is. I’ll take whatever you want to throw my way. I could have em back to you within a week. Maybe less.
Let me know man. You have my email addy.

Sounds like a good cause. Happy to contribute. You can find me this weekend at the Insight Studios booth at the Con.
I’ll be set up at the show also- tho I have no idea yet where my table will be,I’m sure it will be listed in the program- just let me know what you need and it’s done…;o)
I would happily produce a MICE TEMPLAR character sketch for this worthy charity!
Thank you all!
I don’t know my booth number yet. But I’ll be at Kids Love Comics. And I’ll do my best to walk around to catch you guys. Thank you again!
