It is jsut the way the light was hitting his eyes. And it is a very cool effect…
Teehee … they are that kind of pirates.
If he was to wake up, I think the pirates would freak out. Come on. Your booty would disappear, just like in the Lord of the Rings (which is ironically what I watched right before I made this comment).:O
