Wow, did he just roll 2 20s in a row or is that a vorpal sword? Normal crit wouldn’t kill it.
I think it would have been cooler if the kraken just sort of turned upside-down and floated to the surface like a dead goldfish…But maybe that wouldn’t exactly be dramatic.
“Final fantasy victory music plays”
“Ooh, had enough, eh?”
Mental Note; If I’m ever fighting a Kraken, STAB IT THERE.
And so it was known as Kraken Island, and a tenticle was named after Alex, and all the Merpeople went there on vactaion.
(Allusion to cyclops island, in beginning.)
And the merfolk rejoiced muchly, for they now had a decade’s worth of calamari for their seafood franchise…

This world sure does like its “ba-DOOM”s.
paddington looks kinda confused and lost
Shame on you, Alex! What did that little Huge Ferocious Monster ever do to you?
Love how it takes a whole page to watch a giant kraken fall. Slow-mo!

useless sword-bearing guy is useless once again…. and kills the evil beastie…
Kraken hits head and falls unconcious* Yay we won…then it wakes up….
And Alex’s shell phone plays the Victory Theme.
…well that was anti-climatic.
Poor kraken. All it wanted was to eat some pussycat.
