Stab in and up. Take out the diaphragm and possibly the lungs too, without having to bother going through the pesky ribcage. That should quicken it.

That depends. A simple gut stab is unlikely to be fatal. Now, if you stick a pointy bit in there and wiggle it all over the place then you’re pretty well guaranteed to have a horribly painful and delayed-fatal injury.

And if you do ever do that to someone, I have to seriously question your empathy and ability to understand pain.

Personally I think it’d also be funny to just let em hang off the ship with a rope into the fairy village where the kids and fairies can use him as a piñata. But given the current line of though I can see how that might not “sublte” enough.
