The scale of the fairy village in the background is still off. Much too large to resemble a village of tiny fairies.
Maybe the only ones we can see from here are the towering skyscrapers?
That being the village that Alex somehow didn’t notice he was trampling over in his underwear earlier in the story doesn’t seem quite so feasible now.
Perhaps they’re getting bigger. Maybe it is just one of those weird dream effects. Who knows?
