Well…here we are.
For those of you who guessed it. Congrats.
For those of you who HOPED for it. I hope these following pages meets your expectations.
And for the rest of you…I hope this is a pleasant surprise.
As I’ve said a few times before….this is my favorite chapter to date.
I am so happy that all of the pieces I’ve been building on for the last several years are finally coming together.
I also want to thank Karen for her wonderful designs of kid Felicity and kid Nicole. For Ivan for his perfect models. Juan Carlos for his terrific facial expressions and rigging. ANd of course to Stefano for Astoria. I never grow tired of playing around in this city. Even the back alleys.
Thank you all for reading…and I look forward to hearing your thoughts on reading these pages over the next couple weeks.

These two will constantly spew cute. Totally awesome that Felicity was a thief way back when. Somehow good-natured thieves and books mesh so wonderfully.

Did Stefano design all the streets and back alleys? It looks like they are running backwards from panel 1 to panel 3. The cobblestone main street was at Felicity’s feet in 1, then she was farther back in 3, back in the shade.
Archivist, good point. Maybe it is another street? Indeed, they seem pretty the same.

I read -almost- daily, but seldom comment.
However, I have to in this one page! Felicity looked so cute when she was little XD. Same goes for Nicole. I’d bet her ‘special ability’ in Dreamland was some kind of genius intellect, if she isn’t already :P.

The alley. There are pockets of light. So you’re seeing them run in and out of them.
I thought it would be more interesting to see longer shadows and pockets of light than just everything illuminated.

It’s always a great feeling for a writer when they see years of work and planning begin to culminate, especially when things you never intended or anticipated fitting in with the final chapters actually do. If that makes any sense, lol.

The “running backwards” thing…Yeah, it feels that way to me, too. Not because of the light, but because in panels 1, 2, and 4 they are running towards me, so in panel 3, I expect them to be running down, not up.

Wow… I come back to three comics. That’s pretty cool! I’m guessing that this was pretty traumatic for Nicole. Poor thing.
I love this story. I see the beautiful 3d graphics and I can’t help but think that it would make an awesome game.

But I just found your website today and yes, spent all day reading 817 pages of your work.
I have to say it is the most enjoyable thing I’ve read in a while. Such flow and humor, passion and all. It’ll suck now that I can’t read the story in bulk from now on, but I’ll definetly keep up with your story from now on.

I found this about 14 hours ago, and I read from the beginning. I just finished reading the whole thing. This is absolutely amazing. I agree with Nightwind about its amazingness, and also that it will indeed be sad not to be able to read it in bulk, but I will continue following this story until the day it finally comes to a close. This is absolutely fantastic, cute, hilarious, and…well, amazing. I shall continually check this site obsessively to see the new updates.

We are all exiles from our own pasts. It is a place intimately familiar, yet forever beyond our reach. For Nicole her returned memories must be like a glimpse through a window with the curtains drawn back after years of darkness. A window, but no doorway…
